Why can't I finish Apple Developer Program enrollment when my ID or payment keeps failing?
Founders and indie developers spend weeks stuck in Apple Developer Program enrollment because identity checks, account region and card payments do not line up, and support answers days later with canned replies, so their app cannot ship.
Who has it: Indie iOS developers, non-US founders running a US LLC, and small agencies enrolling a client company in the Apple Developer Program.

Ask HN "Is it not possible to enroll for Apple Developer anymore?", 26 October 2026.What nothing does yet
An enrollment checker that asks for your entity type, country, passport, Apple Account region, D-U-N-S record and card details, flags the exact mismatch that blocks approval or payment before you submit, and drafts a precise support ticket when it is Apple's side.
Tools that solve this
3 named so far, and where each one stops.
- Apple Developer support (email and phone)
The official route, but replies can take days and phone support is often unavailable.
- Apple Developer forums
Threads describe the same failures, but answers are scattered and rarely say which check failed.
- Enrollment agencies and app publishers
Can publish under their own account, but you give up ownership of the listing.
How you might build it
- 01Rules engine of Apple enrollment requirements by country and entity
- 02D-U-N-S lookup
- 03LLM support ticket drafting
- 04Status tracking and reminders
